Insecure Writer's Support Group Post Day!

It’s time for another group posting of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group! Time to release our fears to the world – or offer encouragement to those who are feeling neurotic. If you’d like to join us, click on the tab above and sign up. We post the first Wednesday of every month. I encourage everyone to visit at least a dozen new blogs and leave a comment. Your words might be the encouragement someone needs.

I wanted to point out that the awesome Julie Flanders wrote an article for College and Research Libraries News about some of the best websites for writers, and she listed the IWSG site!

    Any info is good info to someone, whether just starting out or experienced, etc., so post away whatever comes to your bay

    I could use a post about how to get library cataloguing info for your self-published book after it has been published. If you've already covered the subject and could send me a link to it, that would be wonderful. Happy IWSG Day!

    I second Raquel Byrnes: keep doing what you're doing. It helps many people. Every first Wednesday of every month, we feel that we are not alone, that there is some support and understanding out there.

    I would love to heard about what marketing people have found works - that is, works currently. We know Bookbub, which is so darn hard to get. I'm trying Goodreads ads and will happily report back the results.

    There's an audience for every kind of 'writerly' topic.
    However, marketing is an ongoing and an ever-changing beast, so these types of posts are never enough.

    I'm a nosey kind of person and like to hear the latest and greatest of what's happening with writers and the industry. Recent news about Kindle Unlimited and their idea of paying per page read is an example. Often its Facebook where I learn these things.
