Those who participated in NaNoWriMo are hopefully breathing a big sigh of relief right about now. Even if you didn't complete the full 50,000, any words down "on paper" are worthwhile!

ReplyDeleteI signed up for NaNo but did not really do it. I have never reached 50000 in November, but have won every camp I attended. Happy IWSG Day.

Unfortunately, a lot of people have nice posts that I'd like to comment on, but the comments get eaten by the overly aggressive spam filters on Wordpress. Which is just one reason why I'm a Blogger die-hard, not to say that Blogger is perfect by any means!
ReplyDeleteI wrote about my experiences with the poop storm that is going on over at Tumblr. What does this have to do with being an insecure writer, you may ask? Well, I think every writer should be concerned about freedom of speech, so I wrote about how said poop storm fits into the freedom of speech issue.

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to decide what to do; there are so many choices. I've chosen to dive into WEP this time around and try out a piece I've had in my head for a few weeks. This should be fun.
ReplyDeleteThe answer to your question is I write inside only now. The photo with my laptop and my jungle cat was taken the first year I lived here. I learned the hardway that humidity is not kind to electronics. I now work solely in my office with a dehumidifyer going all the time. Also in my living room I have a dehumidifyer next to my TV.

ReplyDeleteI notched up another NaNo win and finished the first draft last week. I intend to do WEP before facing my annual UK tax return. I'm also doing a beta-read this month.
