It’s time for another group posting of the Insecure Writer’s Support Group! Time to release our fears to the world – or offer encouragement to those who are feeling neurotic. If you’d like to join us, click on the tab above and sign up. We post the first Wednesday of every month. I encourage everyone to visit at least a dozen new blogs and leave a comment. Your words might be the encouragement someone needs.
The awesome co-hosts today are Elizabeth Seckman, Lisa Buie-Collard, Chrys Fey, and Michelle Wallace!
To kick off a brand new year, we invite all members to introduce yourself, either on your blog or at the Facebook site. Please keep your introduction to a hundred words or less.
Let us get to know you – and get to know others in this awesome group!
Now, what are your goals for 2015?

Happy new year! I've got a lot of promoting and releasing to do this year. My goal: to survive it!
Hi Alex, Happy new Year! I'm afraid I'd already posted my blog so haven't included an intro, will try to make up for it next month - there are goals mentioned though ;) good luck with yours.
Christine, surviving is my goal.
Angela, no worries!
Hello, Alex! Happy New Year! One of my goals is breaking into print via traditional book publishing.
Hope 2015 started with a blast for you. Virtual *hugs*!
Thanks for the wonderful tips on this blog. My goal for 2015 is to find an agent for my continuing series of writings. I've self-published twice, so hope maybe to find an agent for #3.
As soon as I'm approved at the Facebook page, I'll introduce myself, okay?
Here is this month's fussing: https://speculationsimpressed.wordpress.com/2015/01/07/iwsg-first-wednesdays-fusser/
Staying alive sounds like a good goal haha the cat needs an intro? Whoops.
Happy New Year! Hope 2015 is a great one for the IWSG.
Happy New Year to everyone.
That's what I get for pre-posting. LOL Let me go make another post.
Happy New Year Everyone!
My goal is to be authentically happy this year, no matter what. IOWs, Alex, all my life I've had to have a reason to be happy. This year I'm going to be happy without a reason. Amen to you, Captain.
My goals are to publish my current WIP in the final editing stage and finish the two I have on the drawing board. Best wishes to you and yours for 2015!
Am glad to be aboard. Had to do a quick revamp of my initial introduction post due to the word count but got it up and glad to be here!
Hey! Thanks for giving me another place to introduce myself. I'd already posted by the time I saw this. Yes, still catching up from the holidays. Hope you all have a wonderful New Year!
Thanks for continuing the #IWSG, Alex. My goal is to publish two of my completed novels in 2015. I also plan to relax and enjoy all of the projects connected to these goals rather than stress over each task.
My goal is to publish another book this year. And to stay sane. =)
Of course i forgot to introduce myself...I'll do that next month:) I hope to create more cards and have fun writing in my blog
My goals are to tackle my new project head-on and finish writing my book.
Hey, Alex and all you IW's....
May 2015 be filled with love, happiness, health, and amazing writings.... WE already have THE BEST community there is, so no need to ask for that...
My goals? Just keep writing...
That would be "goal." Singular.
To PLAN! Starting with my day, followed by sticking to my plan! I think I'll add Pat's too ~ staying alive! Thanks for all you do, Alex!
Thanks for the prompt for this first post of 2015! Can't wait to see what everyone's goals are :)
Ninja Girl
Hi all. Hope this year is wonderful for all.
My goal? To live each day as if it were my last day on earth.
Oh, and to get that 1st book published... it's overdue!
Thank you Alex, and the IWSG admin, for the wonderful team work last year!
May the IWSG grow from strength to strength!
Hi Alex .. lots going on around the amazing IWSG and the FB page .. you've inspired many by setting it up .. and congratulations to its continued success .. cheers Hilary
My goal for this year is to have my good days significantly outnumber my okay and bad days.
I have goals of getting novels published this year, but my biggest goal is to keep myself motivated and positive (something I kept lacking last year.)
Shelina here from A Writer Inspired! 2015 means keeping my writing at the top of my priority list. By focusing on improving my writing, my hope is that publishing will be just the starting point for me and not the end goal. Hopefully, I'll get to know more of you as the year goes on.
