The awesome co-hosts for the December 5 posting are:
This month's optional question is: What are five objects we'd find in your writing space?
Our Twitter is @TheIWSG and hashtag #IWSG.
We got so many phenomenal entries for the anthology contest. Look for the announcement of the official Table of Contents in January!
Don't forget, the next Twitter pitch event is in January! It's a great way to get noticed by editors and agents.
This month's WEP theme is Ribbons and Candles. You can sign up now, and even get your post up early, as some are doing due to the holidays. We can't wait to see what you create!
If you've got Instagram, you can participate in our daily questions. Here's December:
For those on Goodreads, we have a book club. For great books and discussion, check it out!
The December/January selection is Big Magic, by Elizabeth Gilbert. The discussion begins January 23.
Those who participated in NaNoWriMo are hopefully breathing a big sigh of relief right about now. Even if you didn't complete the full 50,000, any words down "on paper" are worthwhile!
How did you do for NaNo? Did you reach your goals? Have you read Big Magic, or will you be doing so for the book club? Will you be doing WEP? Have you tried out the daily Instagram prompts? Will you be doing the Twitter Pitch?

Always a bunch going on indeed.
There's much going on I must endevour to participate in some.......a new year resolution? Maybe,
Yvonne.
We've a lot going on during the next month!
With so much going on, when do we have time to write??? Finding balance is always difficult. Have a great month.
I really enjoyed this month's question, but then I have things in my writing space that I like writing about!
Five Things in my Writing Space
We have so many fun things happening this month.
So much going on! Good luck to everyone prepping for the Pitch.
I signed up for NaNo but did not really do it. I have never reached 50000 in November, but have won every camp I attended. Happy IWSG Day.
Busy time ahead. I can't wait to see who makes it into this anthology. One day I'll brave it and enter.
No NaNo for me. I am too slow a writer for an event like that to work for me. Congrats to all that participated!
Unfortunately, a lot of people have nice posts that I'd like to comment on, but the comments get eaten by the overly aggressive spam filters on Wordpress. Which is just one reason why I'm a Blogger die-hard, not to say that Blogger is perfect by any means!
I wrote about my experiences with the poop storm that is going on over at Tumblr. What does this have to do with being an insecure writer, you may ask? Well, I think every writer should be concerned about freedom of speech, so I wrote about how said poop storm fits into the freedom of speech issue.
So much happening this month and next year! Good sign.
There is so much going on, all good! Happy Holidays!
So many happenings - love it!
I'm jumping into WEP again this month - we'll see about the rest! :)
Lots going on this month and into the new year. Awesome opportunities for writers.
I'm looking forward to another pitchfest! I completely failed at nano, again. My first book is being rereleased a d I got the proof 11/2. I'm going to win next year:) Happy Holidays to you and your family.
It's hard to decide what to do; there are so many choices. I've chosen to dive into WEP this time around and try out a piece I've had in my head for a few weeks. This should be fun.
The answer to your question is I write inside only now. The photo with my laptop and my jungle cat was taken the first year I lived here. I learned the hardway that humidity is not kind to electronics. I now work solely in my office with a dehumidifyer going all the time. Also in my living room I have a dehumidifyer next to my TV.
There's so much going on! Happy Holidays!
I haven't even tallied my NaNoWriMo yet, but I'm glad I at least made the attempt:)
I notched up another NaNo win and finished the first draft last week. I intend to do WEP before facing my annual UK tax return. I'm also doing a beta-read this month.
