Writing Tips:

READ. Read everything you can get your hands on. Read for entertainment. Read to learn and strengthen your craft. Read. Read. Read.

WRITE. Write down those ideas before they slip away. Write through your block.  Maybe it’s not what you want to say but it can always be revised. There’s no revising nothing. If your muse continues to balk, set your WIP aside, work on something else and come back to it later.

RESEARCH. No matter what genre you are writing in, chances are you will need to do some research.

After you’ve finished your WIP, go back through and TIGHTEN it up, cut out any extraneous words.

EDIT, then edit some more.

And when you’re done editing, PROOF it.

Got CRITIQUE partners? They’ll will help you break it down chapter by chapter, idea by idea.

Send it to your BETA readers.

And finally, the bane of most writers, MARKET your story.

I found the words, too - and I'd like to add my tip to your article. I use the Natural Reader, a text-speech app, to read my WIP to me while I proofread/edit.
