S is for Success

I don't know for anyone else, but April passes in a blur each year. Seems no matter how much I prepare for the Challenge, plus life in general, things go haywire and I get behind on err'thang. The wonderful thing is that I make it through the month somehow. Yay!

Success is more than possible with the right approach (dedication, discipline & organization) and a positive attitude. So all your bases may not be covered, but you've made it this far which means there is only a week's worth of letters to go to finish the Challenge.

We'll get there and record this as another victory under our belts.

As April rolls on and May steps in, remember to take this idea with you:

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

                                                        - Winston Churchill

So true, Christine. Courage, we need to move forward.

Alex, always!

This challenge has been my worst... in terms of lack of time, due to an unexpected, last minute, heavy work load... BUT I'm moving forward, courageously!!

You nailed four of the most important factors in success, JL! I shorten quotes like Churchill's into something that I can repeat to myself when I need to: Keep walking! That's been my mantra, and it's carried me through a lot of difficult things and has helped me accomplish many goals. Have a good one!

I love that quote from Churchill. This month has been a challenge but next month will bring a new one and then another after that one.

Totally agree with Winston! But April... April is turning into a difficult month.

We can't rest on those laurels for long. Winston was right about that.

With All that goes "wrong" in life... any success is greatly appreciated...
"Failure" can be Final (as well as sometimes "Fatal"...)
Wishing you "Success" in all of your endeavors, dear Lady...

Well said. Best wishes and happy writing! I'm doing the Camp NaNoWriMo Challenge, too, so it's been interesting. Thank you for visiting my blog at http://darlamsands.blogspot.com/ during this A to Z challenge. Looks like folks are still dropping off as I'm number 1226 on the list today.

April always flies by for me too and I always feel like I'm on the edge of falling behind, but manage to stay on top of things.

I was going to have my theme picked and my posts written before April started.

That did not happen.

I was going to write each entry the night before its scheduled post date.

I did not.

I was going to post the entry for each letter on the correct day.

That has not happened either.

Seems like nothing is going as planned this month, whether in the AtoZ or RL.

But I'm still here and my fingers are still moving around the keyboard, so yeah, I'm doing ok! :O)
