Welcome
to the Insecure Writer’s Support Group Website! Our A to Z Challenge theme –
Writing Resources!
With
a freelance focus, The Renegade Writer is a site which has a great collection
of articles to help with your pitch or query.
The
Renegade Writer concept is that to have a successful freelance career, you need
to do what works for you — instead of blindly following the “rules” you
see set forth in books, in magazines, and on blogs.
There’s
lots of great advice such as - how to develop a querying style that works for
you, overcome freelancing fear, get motivated, figure out your own systems for
getting and doing work, earn more money as a freelancer, and basically boost
your freelance writing career and reach your writing dreams.

Just the sort of resource I need! I lose my way and my motivation, sometimes, and it would be wonderful to get advice from peers!
Good way to be indeed, do what works for you
I don't have the energy or motivation to be freelance. I just blog my stuff. Sounds like good advice though.

Those queries and pitches are the worst part of this business. I think I spend more time on them than I do on the books! Glad you posted about the resource.
Great site, thanks.

This is a great one to share with friends. Thanks, Michelle!
Hi Michelle - I'd be a renegade ... and will be one - I'll abide within the bounds of necessity ... but usually do my own thing - but you know that - cheers Hilary
The words 'pitch' and 'query' give me nightmares...
