Writing and publishing is a roller coaster ride and we’ll face highs and lows. What gets us through the lows is optimism. That hope reminds us of our goals and assures us we’ll make it through.
Optimism when it comes to a stuck plot.
Optimism when those rejection letters come in.
Optimism when that first bad review appears.
Can we survive all that? Yes! With the right optimistic attitude, we can.

true, optimism is the lifeline
Yes, we can! Woo-hoo! :)
We can survive!
Some days its easier than others to get the optimism going. Today is a good day.
No one is immune to problems associated with a writing career. Luckily, optimism can carry us through the rough times.
I always try to be an optimist!
I left most author forums, in part, due to lack of optimism from many of the participants. Negativity doesn't do me any good as an author.

Great O post. Optimist is a must when writing.
Optimism is having "hope" when there is None...
We thought that we had joined your "Writers" Blog...
We usually drop by at least a time or two each week...
Your posts are often very "insightful" not only for writers but way of handling (and "dealing with") "Problems in Life...
A great weekend to you and yours dear lady...
Can survive with ease, surely isn't the end of the world
Hi Diane,
I like your post. Optimistically, this will be the last year of the A to Z. A to Z, RIP :)

Great word. Without optimism I'd have quit long ago.
Optimism is found very often at the beginning of a journey. It's important to keep it around for the long haul.
I love the word optimism!
A positive & upbeat attitude will serve you well when the going gets tough...
Yep, optimism is key! I find I'm more optimistic when I'm working steadily on a project. The act of creating, for me, is what generates optimism. When I'm grumpy or discouraged, I'm not creating enough.
Optimism is very important!
