A to Z Challenge - Writing Inspiration - Help

Writing is often a solitary job. We’re focused on our own little world and think we have to do it all. But we don’t; we just have to ask for help.

Help with critiquing our manuscripts.

Help with learning about the publishing industry.

Help with promotions and marketing.

All we need to do is ask for help!

Without the help of my awesome CPs, Betas, writing groups, and the fantastic writing community, I wouldn't have come this far. :)

What's so amazing is how difficult it is for many to ask for help. Great post, Diane!

Give a little yelp for some help

And this group is a great place to find that help.

Couldn't have done what I've done without asking for it!

And sometimes I hate to do that. All writers are so busy with their own writing and families and lives. Still whenever I have asked for help, they've jumped in and said yes.

Sometimes I forget to ask for help, then when I finally do, it's so amazing the help I get.

I work for a health non-profit, and I have to say, it's fascinating how many people whose vocation it is to help others are so reticent to ask for help themselves.

Great reminder--thank you!
