Sounds like a great resource. I don't write for children but will check it out anyway. A lot of skills are transferable :) Thank you for the post.
That's perfect for anyone who writes for children.
I always wanted to write a children's book for my nieces and godchildren, but they're far too old for that now. Now I'll have to write them a YA novel. :)
Such a great resource!
Fantastic for children's authors! :)
Excellent! I'll have to make sure that's listed with the other courses.
Exactly. Skills for one genre can be used for many. :)
I figured there are a lot of children's book writers among us. :D
I've written one for my nephews, but I'm not sure if it's any good. Haha
I thought it would be. :)
Great! Thanks, Alex!
Sounds like a great resource indeed. The cat is crazy enough to get in a kiddos mind though haha
I always wanted to write chap books but oh my goodness! writing for kids is soooo difficult. I spotted a chap book writing course when I popped in... I visualize getting distracted now and hanging out with kids. :) Thanks for the great info!

Sounds like a good bunch of courses. I learned a great deal taking the courses offered by The Institute of Children's Literature.
Wonderful resources. Thanks.
Great that you're posting resources for writers!
That is a great resource. Children's books are a lot harder to write than many people realize.

Awesome resource! I definitely want to write a children's book someday!
Lots of courses on offer!
I'd love to write a book for kiddies one day...a rhyming book...
A wonderful list of informative sources for when you've followed your little ninja from sandbox to treetop and are ready to write about it :-)
Cool resources,
Juneta @ Writer's Gambit
Good to know. It's nice to have a reference versus a pig in a poke.
I'd say the cat is too crazy for kids period. LOL
It definitely takes a different way of thinking to write for kids, especially for chapter books.
You're welcome, Heather!
They pretty much have all the courses you'd want for writing children's books.
You're welcome, Em-Musing!
Writers can never have too many resources. :)
Yes, they are. It takes a different skill set than writing for adults, but the knowledge gained can be carried over.
And I hope you do, Katy!
I bet your rhyming book would be a delight, Michelle.
lol I don't have little Ninjas in sandbox especially yet. But I have nephew ninjas. ;)
Thanks, Juneta!
Glad you found this useful, Ann.
This is a great resource... THANKS! I may take a course or two! Definitely will help anyone who has been out of the grove for a while, like me.
Great course names :-) Good luck with the rest of the challenge.
Thanks for the really useful information and the links.
Wonderful resources, Chrys. Thanks for sharing!
Sounds like a great resource. I don't do picture books, but I can see how taking a course would come in handy for those in need. I'd prefer to take a course on YA writing.
